An Overview of Debate

Welcome to Debate

Debate is a class designed to build students' critical thinking skills.  In addition to learning about the history of debate, students will have a variety of opportunities to research topics, present their findings, and then debate multiple sides of an issue following the rules as established by the National Forensics League.  This class is open to students in all grades and is recommended to students who are interested in and serious about developing their ability to examine a particular issue from multiple perspectives.
